Wind Meets Gas 2023: The Green Deal Industrial Plan
Our yearly event on hydrogen and offshore energy with keynote speakers from the energy industry, government and academia. This year’s edition will specifically focus on how Northwestern Europe – and the North Sea(s) countries in particular – can formulate joint responses to the challenges posed by the European Green Deal Industrial Plan.
The 7th edition of Wind meets Gas will take place on October 12 & 13 in the traditional setting of the Martinikerk venue in Groningen (NL). This year’s edition of Wind meets Gas will specifically focus on how Northwestern Europe – and the North Sea(s) countries in particular – can formulate joint responses to the challenges posed by the European Green Deal Industrial Plan.
We are currently working on the programme and aim to have this ready by the end of the summer. However, we would like to give you a little sneak preview and share with you some officials and organisations that have already confirmed. There are speakers from the Nordic Embassies, RWE, Gasunie, Engie, DVWG, the European Commission, the Dutch Government and National Employers’ Organisation, and many others. Various workshops will be organised on topics such as: the project Hy2Market, The Nordic energy response, North Sea offshore energy challenges, Dutch-British collaboration on Hydrogen, research project HyDelta, and North Sea Ports.
We are also honoured to announce that all Nordic ambassadors and other Nordic officials, as well as the ambassadors of Germany, France and UK will join the symposium. Also, various CEOs of key energy players in the North Sea area will join to inform you about their most recent investment plans in the area. Just as last year, dedicated B2B and B2G matchmaking sessions will be organised: a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners.
The Wind Meets Gas symposium is open by personal invitation only.
